M usa House believes that all children should be given an equal opportunity in life especially when it comes to the provision of basic needs such as Housing, Health care and Education. We shall serve to identify and support the most vulnerable children within the community, especially those affected by HIV/AIDS. The orphaned children targeted shall fall under the following 3 categories: - Children living on their own in child headed households
- Children living in households headed by parents who are HIV and AIDS positive
- Children living in Grand Parents headed households, who continue to face challenges in finding consistent income, let alone support their grand children with the basic needs.
Our aim is to help OVCs in the community who do not have anywhere else to turn to for assistance, after losing their parents We wish to reduce the number of OVCs on the streets and increase the care available to them through our program We shall work closely with other relevant Government ministries, stakeholders and partners, who have presence in the district to stop spread of the scourge through continued awareness creation, provision of all the preventative methods that save life and use of the media to advocate for more resources to fight the disease including intensify research in finding a cure. |

Amazing Story
Granny breast feeds Grand Daughter
This is an amazing story of baby Jacqueline Awuor; her mum passed away when she was only 9 days old, her granny took her and being of such a tender age, all the food she knew was milk and so Granny Rosa started breastfeeding her. Amazingly, at her age (65) she produced milk which baby jacqueline has been suckling on for 3 years now.
