Rongo Project - Educational Support for 127 Children Of Kadera & Kanyadgiro VillagesThe Rongo Project is due to start this September 2009. We have been successful in being included in a funding campaign under THE BIG GIVE where The Reed Foundation and Trustees and major donors of charities registered on the Big Give are joining together to offer £3 Million matched funding with the aim of raising a total of £6 Million for charities this christmas. Our aim is to raise £25,000 for this campaign. The Money raised will be used to support 127 Children from 2 villages in Rongo District, namely, Kadera & Kanyadgiro. We intend to provide the children with School Uniforms and pay their School Tuition as follows:

Amazing Story
Granny breast feeds Grand Daughter
This is an amazing story of baby Jacqueline Awuor; her mum passed away when she was only 9 days old, her granny took her and being of such a tender age, all the food she knew was milk and so Granny Rosa started breastfeeding her. Amazingly, at her age (65) she produced milk which baby jacqueline has been suckling on for 3 years now.
